Sometimes a second book in the series is a let down, a pure filler... this is not that book. I am not sure if I love it more than the first but it is close to being there. [For more me: Instagram]
The first book ended on a whopping cliff hanger and so we pick up right where we left off. As usual, Evren steals the show and has every female eating out of his hands. However, we realize that not all is as it seems once again.
I loved this book and is truly starting to show the character growth of the FMC as well as others throughout the story. I enjoyed the side characters just as much as the main. The spice is absolutely hot and just as amazing as the first-quality spice without it completely taking over (which is hard to do when we have the fated mates trope I have found out).
This does end on another cliffhanger and the third book is not due to be released until March 2023.
